Adam Levine, the Maroon 5 frontman, was doused with flour by an unidentified man as he greeted fans outside Jimmy Kimmel Live studio in Hollywood on Wednesday.

The singer/songwriter was signing autographs for fans outside the studio after performing with his band on Jimmy Kimmel Live, when a man hit him square in the head with a bag of flour. The flour covered his face, his patterned jacket and jeans.

Previously, many other celebrities have suffered the wrath of what professional celeb-defacers call flour bombing.

A video was released on March 23, 2012 depicting reality TV star Kim Kardashian being flour bombed by a PETA activist for wearing fur.

Like Kardashian, Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton too have been previously attacked with flour for wearing fur.

Kim laughed off the ordeal and even made a joke in light of the incident telling E!, "That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me. Like I said to my make-up artist, I wanted more powder and that's a whole lot of translucent powder right there."

Unlike Kim, Levine did not take the incident sportingly and left the studio with a sour expression.

With Hollywood's hottest celebs being flour bombed, this trend is sure to catch up soon in Bollywood.
