Rachel McAdams, Benicio del Toro and Paul Giamatti have likewise all signed up to lend their voices to an upcoming animated adaptation of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's children's classic, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
First announced four years ago, the project, financed by Onyx Films, is now finally being fleshed out with the choice of English-language voiceovers. The Little Prince will benefit from the expertise of Mark Osborne, co-director of Kung Fu Panda (2008), at the helm.
First published in 1943, Le Petit Prince, is fêting its 70th anniversary this year. This classic has been translated into 270 languages and dialects and sold over 145 million copies the world over.
