As America woke up from what half of it was hoping was a dream, filmmaker Michael Moore, vocal liberal, posted a ‘Morning After to-do List’ on Facebook, a 5-point guide to dealing with a Donald Trump presidency.
Moore had been campaigning for Democrat candidate Hillary Clinton for months (ever since she won her party’s ticket over Bernie Sanders), and has been loudly dismissive of Donald Trump, even making a documentary (Trump Land, a last-ditch effort to sway voters in favour of Clinton) in the weeks leading up to election night.
Moore, who spent the hours following the declaration of results protesting on the streets on New York City, urged people to get back on their feet and prepare to fight. He posted a detailed message on Facebook, a shorter version of which he shared on Twitter. We present both:
TO-DO LIST Item #1: Progressive Dems must take over the Democratic Party and return it to the people. Fire current DNC.— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) November 9, 2016
TO-DO LIST Item #2: Fire all pollsters, pundits and bloviators who not only got it wrong but created the creature known as Donald Trump.— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) November 9, 2016
TO-DO LIST Item #3: Demand the Dems in Congress fight, resist &obstruct this racist sociopath who tricked millions of angry ppl 2 vote 4 him— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) November 9, 2016
TO DO LIST Item #4: Everyone get out of ur happy delusional bubble that led u to relax & believe the election was going 2 turn out just fine— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) November 9, 2016
TO-DO LIST Item #5: Say it loud: "HILLARY WON THE POPULAR VOTE." A quarter-million more Americans wanted her, not him. This is not TrumpLand— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) November 9, 2016
Moore is best known as the director of the Oscar-winning 2004 film Fahrenheit 9/11, his takedown of the George W Bush presidency and the War on Terror. He is a registered Democrat and long-standing critic of the Republican party. He is also a man we need to pay attention to. In July, he predicted, in great detail and with startling accuracy, that Donald Trump will win the election.
Following the election of Trump, he tweeted these messages:

In one last act of sad historical irony last night, Donald Trump held his victory party in the hotel where Malcolm X spent his final night.— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) November 9, 2016
The night he won, the Empire State Bldg celebrated Dear Leader. You could see his image for miles. America was safe. pic.twitter.com/8oXkOOqgJb— Michael Moore (@MMFlint) November 10, 2016
