MTV Movie Awards 2014 were one to grab eyeballs like no other. Here are some highlights from the glittering, starry ceremony.

The 23rd annual MTV Movie Awards, held in Los Angeles, US, on Sunday, had it all — stars, big wins, brilliant acts and even some stripping on stage.

At the do, hosted by funnyman Conan O’Brien, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire bagged the Movie of the Year award. Also, its lead stars Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence were named the best male and female performers respectively.

Thanking late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman — who played Plutarch Heavensbee in the franchise — Hutcherson said: "If Philip were here, he’d think this was really cool. We think about him every day on set."

Actor Jared Leto continued his winning streak for Dallas Buyers Club, picking up an award for Best On-screen Transformation, as Jonah Hill took home the Best Comedic Performance award for Wolf of Wall Street.

The sexy Mila Kunis won the Best Villain award for her role of the wicked witch in Oz: The Great and Powerful. Pregnant with fiancé, actor Ashton Kutcher’s child, the actor covered up her tiny baby bump in a black dress.

In a moving moment, Fast & Furious actor Jordana Brewster paid a tearjerking tribute to her late co-star, Paul Walker, during the two-hour show.

Now, the juicy bit! The Best Shirtless Performance award went to actor Zac Efron. But as he went on stage to accept the award, singer Rita Ora ripped Efron’s denim shirt open to reveal his six-pack abs to his drooling fans. The Best Kiss honour went to the stars of We’re the Millers.

Will Poulter accepted the award for his double kissing scene with Jennifer Aniston and Emma Roberts in the film.

The ceremony also saw some sizzling musical acts. Barbadian singer Rihanna and American rapper Eminem enthralled one and all with their hit song, Monster. Other performers included Ellie Goulding and Twenty One Pilots.
