Paul Giamatti ready to go head-to-head with Spider-Man

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that Paul Giamatti is on board and British actress Felicity Jones is being wooed to take part in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Paul Giamatti Sideways will play The Rhino in the next Spider-Man film. The character with great strength and speed will stand in Spider-Man's way. He will join forces with Electro, another villain on the bill. Jamie Foxx will play this man who is now able to manipulate electricity.

This year, Paul Giamatti will star in the much-anticipated Twelve Years a Slave and Saving Mr. Banks.

Columbia Pictures also wants Felicity Jones Like Crazy for the cast. According to the Hollywood magazine, it is not yet known which part the young British actress will play.

Director Marc Webb is about to start filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2. This new installment will see Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) tracking down his most famous flame, Mary Jane Watson, now played by Shailene Woodley. Emma Stone will be back as Gwen Stacy and Dane DeHaan will play Harry Osborne.

The film will be released on May 2, 2014 in North American cinemas.
