Sally Field, Spider-Man’s Aunt May, truly madly deeply hates the movie

Oscar-winning actor Sally Field, who is known for playing Aunt May in 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man, recently said that she does not like such films.

On being asked if she liked the Spider Man series, the 69-year-old actor said ‘Not especially, it’s not my kind of movie,’ the Independent reports.

Explaining what made her accept the role, the Lincoln star revealed that she signed the movie because her friend Laura Ziskin was the producer and it was her last film, as she was dying of cancer at the time.

“It’s really hard to find a three-dimensional character in it and you work it as much as you can, but you can’t put ten pounds of shit in a five-pound bag,” she added.

Meanwhile, Spidey has now joined the Marvel Universe and will be featured in Captain America: Civil War in May.
