Twilight fans can now get a sneak peak at the new look of the movie’s heroine Bella Swan after her transformation into a blood-thirsty vampire, as the teaser trailer for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2 has now hit the internet.
The images are a first look at the long-awaited final movie, which won’t be out until November.
In the final scenes from Breaking Dawn - Part 1, Bella (Kristen Stewart) was seen being turned into a vampire by her husband, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), after the birth of their daughter Renesmee left her body broken and dying.
At first the attempt to turn her into a vampire seemed to have failed, but the very end of the flick showed her opening her newly blood-red eyes with a start, the Sun reported.
Now a few lucky film buffs who queued up to buy Part 1 on DVD have been given an insight into what’s to come in the fifth and final instalment of the hit film series.
They were shown an exclusive three-minute clip as well as behind-the-scenes images and interviews with cast members Stewart, Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black.
The trailer carries on from where the last film left off, with Bella awakening as a vampire, her skin deathly white and her lips blood red.
She is seen reading a piece of paper that says: “Gather as many witnesses as you can before the snow sticks to the ground. That’s when they’ll come for us.”
“It’s strange. Physically, I feel like I could demolish a tank. Mentally, I feel just drained,” she tells hubby Edward.
“I’ve had a bad habit of underestimating you,” he says.
“Every obstacle you’ve faced, I’d think you couldn’t overcome it, but you just did. You’re the reason I have something to fight for - a family,” he adds.
Further in she discovers the paper is a page torn out of a copy of novel The Merchant Of Venice.
As with all of the vampire characters in the Twilight Saga, Bella has developed a super power - a higher level of self-control and the ability to project a shield protecting her and those around her.
Filmmakers Lionsgate will be launching a preview of the trailer online at 3 am on March 20, and the full trailer will be shown exclusively in cinemas from March 23 before new movie The Hunger Games.
