Tony Revolori and Laura Harrier are in talks to join the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the upcoming reboot of the superhero starring Tom Holland.
The two join an ensemble that includes Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, and Zendaya in an unknown role, reported Entertainment Weekly.
Michael Keaton is in talks to play a villain in the Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios co-production.
Holland will make his debut as web-slinger next month in Captain America: Civil War. He was cast as the web-slinging superhero last June, after studio bosses at Sony Pictures decided to ditch plans to continue with Garfield as the comic book character in further follow-ups to 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man and its sequel, and start the movies again.
Tony Revolori is best known for his substantial role in Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel. Laura Harrier, on the other hand, only has a couple of TV credits to her name.
Jon Watts is directing the film from a script by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. Production will begin this summer on the film which releases on July 7, 2017.
