Actor Andrew Garfield, who plays the lead in The Amazing Spider-Man, says wearing the red and blue skin-tight costume was irritating. The 28-year-old stars in the reboot focussing on the early days of the web casting hero, reported Aceshowbiz.

"It's made of something that is designed to make you irritated. I don't know what the material name is, but that's the description underneath," Garfield said. The actor, who is dating his Spiderman co-star Emma Stone, said that he actually wore nothing but his birth suit under the superhero getup.

"It's just me. Yeah. It's the worst. One of the first nights we were out in location in downtown LA in a parking structure and I knew there were paparazzi taking terrible, unflattering shots of my, you know, everything. Knowing that your keister is being shot from many different angles makes you very uncomfortable."
