Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back has been voted as the greatest film of all time by more than 250,000 film buffs in a recent poll held by Empire magazine.
George Lucas, the creator of the 1980 sci-fi hit, said that he felt privileged to see the film top the poll which featured 301 titles in total, and that the fans partly like film because of its dark entity Darth Vader, Daily Express reported.
Mark Dinning, the magazine's editor, added that they were delighted and not at all surprised by the result as the second Star Wars film had made the franchise all the more better.

"The Force is strong with this one" has lately been quoted in a lot of memes and gags on the internet and is undoubtedly one of the many gems of the epic series. The movie was released in 1977, and was first in the series.
7. The Lord Of The Rings: The Fellowship Of The Ring
"One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them." First installment in The Lord of The Rings franchise, this movie was released in 2001 and was nominated for as many as 13 academy awards.
