After a bumpy path to production, the first teaser of Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic was released on Monday, May 18th 2015.

After a bumpy path to production, the first teaser trailer of Danny Boyle’s Steve Jobs biopic was released on Monday, May 18, 2015.



The minute-long clip does not reveal much, but gives the first glimpse of Michael Fassbender as the Apple boss. Shot from behind, we see Jobs as he prepares to stride out on to the stage to deliver one of his trademark keynotes.



Each of the film’s prominent stars -- Kate Winslet as former marketing chief of Macintosh, Seth Rogen as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, Joanna Hoffman, and Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley -- get a quick voice-over line about Jobs.



It is a brief glimpse into the clash Jobs has with his colleagues as he dreams of changing the future of technology. He says in the trailer, "The musicians play the instruments. I play the orchestra."



Based on the biography by Walter Isaacson and screenplay by Aaron Sorkin, the movie has been given the release date of Oct.9, 2015.
