Even if Lego Batman prefers to spend his evenings eating, watching tv, and practising Batarang techniques alone, the rest of the film’s cast have other ideas.
A fourth trailer for The Lego Batman Movie offers an insight into Batman’s domestic habits as well as the lengths his friends -- and sometimes enemies -- will go to in order to get him to be a little more sociable.
The CGI animated comedy results from the success of Will Arnett’s take on Batman in The Lego Movie, and is due from February 2017.
Warner Bros has Arnett return as Bruce Wayne and Batman, Zach Galifianakis as The Joker, Michael Cera as Robin, and Mariah Carey as Gotham’s Mayor.
Chris McKay steps up from animation on The Lego Movie to direct. Its scriptwriting credit goes to Seth Grahame-Smith who wrote TV series The Hard Times of RJ Berger and then the novels behind “Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies.
