Filmmaker James Cameron and actor Kate Winslet hit the red carpet in London on Tuesday for the world premiere of the 3D recoming of their Oscar-winning film, Titanic.
While Cameron jetted in fresh from his submarine dive to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, Winslet came in tow with her beau Ned RockNRoll at the Royal Albert Hall. Lead actor Leonardo DiCaprio, however, missed the gala due to work commitments.
The movie dramatised the real-life maritime disaster that claimed more than 1,000 lives when it hit an iceberg and sank on April 15, 1912. The new release has been timed to coincide with the ocean liner’s 100th anniversary.
