Breaking Dawn is touted to be bolder and wilder than all the earlier parts.

The world premiere of The Hunger Games on March 12 brought the film's stars Josh Hutcherson (Journey 2), Jennifer Lawrence (X-Men: First Class) and Liam Hemsworth to the Nokia Theater in downtown Los Angeles with crowds of fans.

Highly anticipated, the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins's bestselling novels also brought Sylvester Stallone, singer Miley Cyrus (Hemsworth's girlfriend), David and Victoria Beckham, Maroon 5's Adam Levine, and Peter Facinelli of Twilight to the red carpet.

The sci-fi action picture film is expected to open as big, if not bigger, than the Twilight Saga films based on advance sales with Fandango, the US online movie retailer.

The box office could make between $90 to $120 million on opening weekend, skewing on the higher side, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 opened to $138.1 million.

The dystopian story about teens who must battle one another on live television to survive follows Katniss Everdeen, who volunteers for the games in place of her younger sister.

The film also stars Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Tucci, singer Lenny Kravitz, Donald Sutherland, and Jack Quaid, son of Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan.

The Hunger Games opens in theaters March 21-23 worldwide.
