Here’s another Hollywood first for India, as Titanic 3D producer John Landau gets an exclusive 30-minute footage of the film to the country on March 22, before its worldwide release on April 4.

“John will be here to promote Titanic 3D, which releases on April 5 in India. He is expected to be in Delhi on March 22, and will also visit Mumbai,” says a spokesperson for the film, adding: “We are yet to finalise the venue for the film’s 20-30 minutes screening, but we’re sure that the 1997 American epic romance’s 3D version will score with viewers.”

Landau, who will also bring his Oscar trophy to India, will also visit the The Taj Mahal while here. “John has heard a lot about it,” says the spokesperson. The 1997 original, directed by James Cameron, won 11 Oscars and created history.
