It seems like the Transformers: The Last Knight team is taking a leaf out of Baywatch’s book because they’ve started a social media assault to rival the Battle of Chicago at the end of Transformers 3.

This time, director Michael Bay has revealed the villain of the upcoming movie. For the fifth Transformers flick, they’re bringing back an all star: Megatron. This could easily be seen as laziness in the writers’ room that Paramount has assembled to map out the future of the franchise. Or maybe, they’ve actually written Megatron a worthwhile part. Either way, we’ll probably get to hear him yell “I am Megatron!” again.

As for the plot, we know nothing yet. But rumours suggest that the King Arthur-inspired Knights of ‘Cybertron’ storyline might be incorporated.

The film is due out in July, 2017.
