Hollywood actor Olivia Wilde says she feels proud that James Bond actor Daniel Craig was her instructor and taught her how to shoot.
“I was really excited about being the woman in the shadows in this movie, the kind of Clint Eastwood character. I never wanted to be a typical girl in a Western,” contactmusic.com quoted her as saying.
“Daniel was actually the one who taught me how to fire a gun, which is really cool because I’ll always be able to tell people, ‘James Bond taught me how to shoot a gun’,” she added. Wilde, who portrays Ella Swenson in Cowboys and Aliens, says despite a number of stunts, she felt safe when Craig was around. “That was supposed to be done by my stunt double ... but I ended up getting on a real horse. Our stunt co-ordinator convinced director Jon Favreau to let me do it. I felt safe because Daniel was riding next to me,” she said.
