Even though American actor Rick Hoffman has never been to India, if there’s something which will get him here, it’s Indian food.
“I would love to try it and I want to come to India for this real deal,” says Hoffman. The actor is popular for playing the character of Louis Litt in the legal drama Suits, which airs on Comedy Central.
He has been travelling outside the US for the promotion of the show, hints that he might visit India next year. “I visited Australia and I am getting the feeling that there are a lot of people watching the show outside of the US. Now, I don’t doubt that India is the same, and it is very fascinating for me and I am awestruck,” he says.
So, when does his globetrotting include the Indian subcontinent in it? “I would love to visit India. As for me doing it on my own, I don’t know. But I have travelled for the show to different place, and you never know (that I visit India) maybe next year,” he says.

Even though he is yet to experience the love from Indian fans waiting for him here, the actor, who has been part of movies such as Jake In Progress and The Condemned, says he gets a lot of tweets from Indian fans on the micro blogging site.
“The only real connection I have with Indian fans is through Twitter, where I try to answer as many questions as I can or if they write anything nice, I do try and let them know if that I liked it. I do get a bunch of people from India tweeting to me,” he says.
For the sixth season finale of the show, the actor reveals that the writers have something interesting for his character’s bittersweet relationship with colleague Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht). “The writers go deep into figuring out how Louis and Harvey handle things together. You will them mature in a lot of ways,” says Hoffman.
