Mani, who is currently busy with Raavana, is already making plans for his next film, Azan. This is a pro-Muslim film. Although the director is still in the scripting process, the buzz is that he wants to cast Ranbir Kapoor as the protagonist.
A source tells a website, “After the release of Raavana in May next year, Mani will start working on Azan. Unlike the films releasing in Bollywood of late, which focus on either jehad or Islam, this is a pro-Muslim film which will portray Muslims in a positive light. The title of the film is the name of the lead character as he will be born during Azan."
