The actress is not only in the race for No.1 slot in Bollywood, but she has also joined the team of Abbas Mustan's Race sequel with Kareena Kapoor. While the hotties from the previous edition - Katrina and Bipasha Basu could not make it to second part, Priyanka Chopra has been finalised for the movie, reports Mumbai Mirror.

A source tells the tabloid, "Katrina's absence was almost certain because her character in Race dies, but Bipasha's absence is certainly surprising."

A source close to Priyanka Chopra confirms, "Priyanka still has to complete Saat Khoon Maaf. She will then move on to Don 2 and the TV Series Fear Factor 3. But she is excited about the character she'll play in Race 2 and is working out her dates for the project."

We hope the next leg of Race franchise is as exhilarating and chic as the ones before.
