Aamir's success is attributed to his hardwork and perfectionist streak. But he doesn't seem to think it's enough. Before every release, the actor personally visits yesteryears star Shammi Kapoor!
In keeping with tradition, Aamir Khan will present a CD of his film,
Peepli
[Live] to the veteran actor.
Before the music release of Taare Zameen Par and Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Naa, Khan personally made a trip to Shammi's residence and gave him the first copy of the film's soundtrack.
A source reveals that Khan will be visiting Kapoor before the official music release on Monday evening.
"Aamir doesn't want to break tradition. He has done it with TZP and JTYJN and wants to do it for Peepli [Live] as well. He considers Shammiji to be part of his family. Since the veteran actor has to undergo dialysis, Aamir will check his schedule and make the visit accordingly. Anusha Rizvi, the director of Peepli [Live] will also join him." a source told Mid Day.
May Aamir get success! It will bring much-needed succour to the box office as well.
