Delhi 6 girl Sonam Kapoor said a polite no to Mani Ratnam when he offered her a movie.
A source informs
Mumbai Mirror, “Mani
Ratnam’s next film will be directed by his long time associate Shiva. The film stars Viveik Oberoi. Mani and Shiva felt Sonam was the apt choice and Mani even had a meeting with Sonam about the same. After a couple of more meetings, Sonam politely declined the offer, stating date problems as an issue.”
However, a close friend of Sonam said, “Sonam wanted to work with Mani Ratnam and was excited when she went to meet him. But she was disappointed when she learnt that Mani was offering her Shiva’s film and not his.”
