Ferrari working on 458 M

The Ferrari 458 M has been spied testing. It is the mid-engined two-seat 458 Italia’s replacement. The M in the badge stands for Modificato.

Report say, the 458 M will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 engine that develops around 670bhp; 108bhp more powerful than the Italia which can accelerate from 0-100kph in less than 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed in excess of 325kph.

The 458 M’s test mule looks very similar to the Italia. At the rear it gets a dual exhaust system instead of the usual center-mounted triple exhaust.

Ferrari could give the car a debut at the Geneva motor show 2015.
