New versions of the six-cylinder and diesel SUVs offer more than just a lick of shiny paint, with a host of options, driver aids and creature comforts included as standard.
The vehicles, which will be available to order for a limited period -- just how limited, Porsche is yet to confirm -- boast an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission, Park Assist, privacy glazing and the Porsche Communication Management in-car infotainment system including the seven-inch HD touch screen and 11-speaker stereo all as standard.
But as well as toys, the cabin features prodigious use of leather and a two-tone color combination reserved exclusively for the model.
Outside, the air intakes, window trims and spoiler tips are finished in platinum metallic paint as standard and while owners can specify all paintwork in the same hue, the range of colors on offer includes monotone paint finishes in black and white, or metallic Meteor Grey, Basalt Black and Mahogany.

For those willing to pay a little more, exclusive Carrara White Metallic paint is also available, as is a full, rather than partial, leather interior.
The six-cylinder petrol version of the Cayenne Platinum Edition will cost €66,379 while at €67,212 the diesel version will cost a little more when it becomes available for order in January.
