Eligibility: BSc (computer science)/BSc (information technology)/BCA, BSc (applied sciences) with mathematics and computer science from a recognised university, any bachelor’s degree in science from a recognised university with at least six papers in computer science

Central Institute of Fisheries Nautical and engineering Training, Kochi

Eligibility: Class 12 with ­minimum 50% marks in English, mathematics and other science subjects. In the case of SC/ST students only a pass is required in the qualifying examination with above subjects.

Eligibility: Class 12 with 50% marks in aggregate

Eligibility: Students with a ­bachelor’s degree in science with at least one of the subject botany, chemistry, geology, ­mathematics, physics, zoology are eligible to apply. Those with a bachelor’s degree in ­agriculture or forestry may also apply. Candidates who are in the final year of their BSc/MSc are also eligible.

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed their Class 12 in 2013 and those who are expecting to complete their II Class 12 in 2014 are eligible to apply. The ­candidates must have studied physics, chemistry and ­mathematics as main subjects during Class 12.

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Thiruvananthapuram

Eligibility: Graduation in biology, chemistry, mathematics, physics, engineering or related areas with 55% or CGPA of 6.0.

Eligibility: Students with an MPhil or equivalent degree awarded by a recognised ­university in India or abroad, teachers working in colleges, ­universities, or institutes ­recognised by the University Grants Commission are eligible to apply.

Rajkumari Amrit Kaur College of Nursing

Eligibility: Senior School Certificate examination or Indian School certificate examination or an examination recognised as equivalent with 50% or more marks in the aggregate of four ­subjects including English core/elective, physics, chemistry and biology.

Eligibility: Candidates who have completed their II PUC/Class 12 in 2013 and those who are expecting to complete their II PUC/Class 12 in 2014 are eligible to apply. The candidates must have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects during their II PUC/Class 12.

Jamia Hamdard

Eligibility: Graduation in any ­discipline from a recognised ­institution with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate CMAT (upto February-2014)/MAT (upto February-2014)/GMAT (upto February-2014)/XAT (upto 2014) /CAT/ATMA (Association of Indian Management Schools Test for Management Admissions) scores or any other exam approved by the university.

Eligibility: Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD category) or ­equivalent, with at least two years professional experience.

University of Hyderabad

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree of three years ­duration in any discipline from an institution ­recognised by UGC/AICTE. Those completing their final examinations by June 2014 are also eligible to apply.

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline with minimum 50% marks. Candidates appearing in the final examination of ­graduation are also eligible to apply. Candidates must appear CAT 2013 conducted by Indian Institutes of Management.

UGC to outsource NET exam to CBSE

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to outsource the National Eligibility Test (NET)  for lecturers to CBSE.

King George’s Medical University, Lucknow

Eligibility: Graduation degree with 60% marks. For medical/dental candidates should have MD/MS/MDS degree with at least 60% marks in MBBS/BDS aggregate

Monash International Merit Scholarships in Australia, 2015

Monash University is awarding up to 31 merit scholarships for international students. These scholarships will be awarded to undertake full-time undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree at a Monash campus in Australia.
