The Young India Fellowship
The one-year programme — Young India Fellowship in collaboration with the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) — is a learning opportunity to open minds and broaden perspectives. Join 50 fellows from around India in the founding batch of Young India Fellows, study, work and learn with others from India, selected for their passion and leadership potential. The fellowship is targeted at professionals including engineers, scientists, accountants and lawyers, as well as those who have graduated with degrees in history, sociology, English literature, and the liberal arts. Participants will take classes in a range of subject areas that cover anthropology to ethics, life sciences to climate change, and art appreciation to entrepreneurship. They can develop insights and a worldview on a broad set of core disciplines as well as on some of the most complex global challenges. Students will receive a scholarship of R8 lakh to cover the entire fee, boarding and lodging when they enter this fully-residential programme

Eligibility: Students who have completed their undergraduate programme and have worked right after that for not more than two years or those in the final year of their postgraduate programme, provided that they enrolled in the programme immediately after taking their bachelor’s degree.

There is no restriction with regard to the area of specialisation at the undergraduate level. Final-year undergraduate students can apply

KC Mahindra Scholarships 2014

KC Mahindra Education Trust will offer interest-free loan ­scholarships to Indian nationals for postgraduate studies abroad in various fields. The maximum amount for the scholarship will be Rs. 2 lakh per scholar, except for the three KC Mahindra fellow scholarships for which the ­maximum amount will be Rs. 8 lakhs per scholar.
