CBSE starts YouTube channel

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is the first board of education in India to have a YouTube channel, which it launched earlier this month. 

The channel,, will be dedicated to the board’s activities, and will have posts from its affiliate schools. Schools can post short films, role plays, talks, discussions, debates, presentations or any other activity that they undertake. Currently, some videos that schools have posted on the channel include films about bullying, disabled students and their problems, environmental concerns, and others.

UGC to outsource NET exam to CBSE

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to outsource the National Eligibility Test (NET)  for lecturers to CBSE.
