Convocation at Galgotias Business School

The Galgotias Business School, Greater Noida, organised its fifth convocation recently. Those present included Suneel Galgotia, the chairman of Galgotias Educational Institutions, and Kiran Karnik, the board of governors, director GBS, and members  from academia, administration and industry along with the students. As many as 154 students were awarded diplomas at the convocation.



Speaking on the occasion, Galgotia congratulated the graduating students and emphasised that education is a life-long process. As education helps one discover himself or herself, students should trust themselves and get involved in social issues and raise their voice to point out any injustice in our country, he said.

Renu Luthra, director, Galgotias Business School, highlighted the growth trajectory of GBS in all dimensions such as student intake, faculty recruitment, infrastructural improvements, research and management development programmes, intra-national and international collaborations.

UGC to outsource NET exam to CBSE

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to outsource the National Eligibility Test (NET)  for lecturers to CBSE.

Eligibility: Candidate should have postgraduate degree in any branch of life sciences having at least 50% or equivalent Grade Point Average (GPA). Students belonging to reserve category will be eligible for 5% relaxation for students of Maharashtra state only
