Jamia UG exams for private students from May 1

Jamia Millia Islamia’s annual examinations, 2013 for undergraduate courses for private candidates, which were postponed on March 28, 2013, have been re-scheduled from May 1, 2013 onwards. The revised schedule is also available on official website of Jamia jmi.ac.in.


The Islamiat (compulsory) paper is on May 3. Hindi sahitya ka itihas and political theory will be held on May 9. General English is on May 12. Urdu Elective and language will be held on May 15. Arabic prose with applied grammar; history of ancient India, 3000 BC to 1200 AD; grammar and translation and general sociology will be held on May 18. Exams for  introduction to sociology and Arabic grammar and translation will be held on May 21. The paper on history of ancient India will be on May 24.

KC Mahindra Scholarships 2014

KC Mahindra Education Trust will offer interest-free loan ­scholarships to Indian nationals for postgraduate studies abroad in various fields. The maximum amount for the scholarship will be Rs. 2 lakh per scholar, except for the three KC Mahindra fellow scholarships for which the ­maximum amount will be Rs. 8 lakhs per scholar.
