Two BITSIANS offered Rs. 1.22 crore salary package by Google

Two students of BITS Pilani, namely, Rushabh Agarwal and Kunal Lad have been offered jobs with salary package of US $ 225,000 ( Rs. 1.22 crore) by Google this semester.
Their place of work will be at Google’s head office in Mountain View, California, US. Agarwal and Lad are expected to join the company in October 2013. Both are at the moment studying in the fifth year of Dual Degree (MSc mathematics and BE-Hons in computer science) and they will be completing their degrees at BITS in July 2013. While Agarwal is from Mumbai, Kunal Lad is from Nagpur.

UGC to outsource NET exam to CBSE

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has decided to outsource the National Eligibility Test (NET)  for lecturers to CBSE.
