IGNOU opens admissions for biodiversity programme

The Indira Gandhi National Open University Sunday invited applications for admission to its online programme in biodiversity.

"IGNOU's chair for sustainable development (CSD) invites applications for one month online appreciation programmme in sustainable management of biodiversity for October 2012 session," the statement said.

"The aim of this programme is to provide a critical and conceptually sophisticated understanding of biodiversity science," it said.

According to the varsity, the eligibility for joining this course is a graduation degree in any subject. The fee for the programme is Rs.500.

"The programme can be completed in a minimum period of one month and a maximum period of six months. Last date for the submission of forms is Oct 20, 2012," the statement added.
