Keshav Mahavidyalaya

Cinema was the buzz word during the HT City Fresh on Campus at Keshav Mahavidyalaya College, as students came dressed as different characters from films.

The event began with the fucchas putting on their dancing shoes to compete for the coolest fresher contest. The freshers walked, sang and danced like their favourite film characters on stage. Sporting the Mera Naam Joker look of Raj Kapoor, Pranav Arya from Bachelor of Business Studies got the crowd hooting for him, while Kanish Raj Sharma was also appreciated by the audience for his moonwalk and was voted the coolest fresher.

This contest was followed by the diva of the day competition, which had a ramp walk, talent round and a Q&A session. Dressed in a red sari just like actor Vidya Balan’s character in The Dirty Picture, Ujjwal Khatana enthralled everybody with the characteristic moves and dialogues from the film. But Rahmat Kaur Kochar was adjudged the winner for her charm and desi moves.

The freshers also enjoyed the day with some electrifying music by DJ Sumit Sethi. With a mix of retro and Punjabi music, the guys and gals just couldn’t keep their feet off the dance floor, and continued to dance till late in the evening.
