Somaiya was teeming with enthusiastic freshers within minutes of its start. Even the soaring heat couldn’t play spoilsport as the young students took to the dance floor. Punjabi songs ruled the roost, the favourites being ‘Amplifier’ and ‘Ishq tera tadpave’.

So while the participants of the various competitions kept everyone entertained with their antics, there were many others who didn’t mind taking to the stage to put up impromptu dance acts.

Compere Himanshi kept the crowd entralled with her wisecracks. While the Veet Diva Of The Day Rimita Dutta charmed the audience with her sashay down the catwalk, the Nano Coolest Fresh title went to Shreya Shetty, who made matchless moves on the dance floor.
