11-year-old boy kidnapped, murdered

An eleven-year-old boy kidnapped from Faridabad on March 27 was found murdered in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Faridabad Police arrested two accused in this connection from Meerut, and the third is absconding.

The incident occurred on March 27, the day of Holi, when Rahul, 11, was playing outside his Sector 48 house, but later went missing. Police said the boy's father Shamsuddin received a ransom call for Rs. 15 lakh.

Shamsudin's brother Nazir informed SGM Nagar police about the incident and a case was registered. The kidnappers have been identified as Usman Khan of Faridabad and Pankaj Kumar of Muzaffarnagar.

The third accused Vijay Kumar, from Bihar, is absconding.
