2 held, 718 packets of RDX seized in Mizoram

Two persons were arrested and 718 packets of RDX and two AK-47 rifles were recovered from their possession in Mizoram's capital Aizawl Wednesday, police said.

Following a tip-off, BSF apprehended the duo and later handed them to the police, a press release said.

The amount of the RDX is yet to be assessed, it said, adding that the arms and explosives were smuggled from Bangladesh, it said.
