2 IPS officers promoted as ADGP, 4 as IGPs

The Haryana government promoted two Indian Police Service (IPS) officers as additional director generals of police (ADGPs) and four others to the post of inspector generals of police (IGPs), an official release said on Wednesday.


The government transferred six IPS and 14 Haryana Police Service (HPS) officers.

IPS officer KK Mishra has been posted as ADGP, crime against women, while V Kamaraja has been appointed ADGP, operations.

Charu Bali has been promoted to IGP, administration, while Subhash Yadav was posted as IGP, telecom, both against vacant posts.

The other two officers promoted as IGPs are CS Rao and Sandeep Khirwar. Both have been given pro forma promotion as both are on central deputation.

K Selvaraj was given the charge of ADGP, state vigilance bureau, against a vacant post, while Panchkula assistant superintendent of police (ASP) Manisha Chaudhary was shifted to Hisar on the same post.

HPS officer Mukesh Malhotra, deputy superintendent of police (DSP), Crime Investigation Department (CID), has been posted as assistant commissioner of police (ACP), Naraingarh, in place of Suresh Chand, who went as such to Gurgaon against a vacant post.

Ajmer Singh, DSP, CID, has been given the charge of DSP, Beri, replacing Narain Chand, who was transferred as ACP, Pataudi. Chand has replaced Veer Singh, who went as DSP, CID.

Rajbir Singh Dahiya, DSP, 4th India Reserve Battalion (IRB), was posted as DSP, Hodal, against a vacant post and Sumit Kumar, DSP, headquarters, Rohtak, was posted as ACP, Faridabad, against a vacant post.

Dharambir, DSP, government railway police (GRP), Faridabad, was posted as DSP, Jind. Hitesh Yadav ACP, Manesar, was posted as ACP, headquarters, Ambala, against a vacant post. Ramesh Kumar, who was holding the charge of DSP, Loharu, was transferred as DSP, headquarters, Rohtak.

Vijender Singh awaiting posting order was posted as ACP Panchkula, vice Sandeep Malik, who went as ACP, traffic, Gurgaon, against a vacant post. Ashish Chaudhry, DSP, headquarters, Mewat, was posted as DSP, Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, against a vacant post. Gurgaon ACP Pankhuri Kumar was shifted as DSP, GRP, Ambala Cantt.
