2 killed in Alwar clash

Two persons were killed while eight others injured when two armed groups clashed in Ramgarh area of the district.

The rival groups of Mev community, armed with guns and sharp-edged weapons, clashed with each other over a property related dispute, said Tej Singh, station house officer (SHO) Ramgarh.

Nuruddin and Sadik were shot dead, while eight other persons of both sides were injured, the SHO said.

Additional forces have been deployed in the area and the situation is under control, he said adding that condition of the injured was stable.

Police to conduct polygraphic test on DIG Paraskar

The Mumbai crime branch has sent a letter to deputy inspector general Sunil Paraskar in a bid to seek his permission to conduct a polygraphic and lie detector tests on him.
