3 wanted robbers land in police net

The Badshahpur police arrested three persons on Sunday for allegedly robbing a truck driver.

The accused identified as Sanju, Luxman and Sunder, belong to Kadipur village. They are also wanted in several other robbery cases. The accused were produced in a court on Monday and sent to 14-day judicial custody.


The accused had planned fresh robberies on the Sohna-Gurgaon road near the Badshahpur toll booth, the police claimed.

The truck driver filed a complaint on Saturday night that when he was returning after delivering gas cylinders at Dhumaspur village, three people allegedly overtook his truck and assaulted him.

The driver also alleged that the trio snatched his mobile phone and Rs. 2,650 from him.

The case was registered at the Badshahpur police station. Two police teams conducted raids in areas around Badshahpur and arrested the accused.
