55-yr-old woman gangraped in West Bengal's Kalna district

A 55-year-old adivasi woman was allegedly gangraped by three youths of her own village in Burdwan district on Monday, superintendent of police SMH Mirza said.


The incident occurred when the woman, resident of Bandhgachhi village under the Kalna police station, went to a field to relieve herself in the morning.

The three accused dragged her to a bush, raped her one by one and fled.

The woman lodged an FIR with the Kalna police station and two of the three accused were arrested later, Mirza said.

The two were identified as Sanjib Tudu and Subodh Hembram.
