8 HCS officers to impart training for elections

The Haryana election department has appointed eight Haryana Civil Service (HCS) officers to impart training to officials at the division-level for the smooth conduct of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha elections in the state.


The HCS officers would provide four-day training to officials in Ambala, Hisar, Rohtak and Gurgaon divisions between August 23 and September 21, chief electoral officer (CEO) Shrikant Walgad said in a release here on Saturday.

He said the training would be given to officials of the education, revenue, police, revenue and excise and taxation departments regarding preparation of electoral rolls and smooth conduct of elections as per rules.
