Cong to hit campaign trail in Sikkim today

After finalising the candidates' list and release of the election manifesto in Sikkim, Congress will hit the campaign trail across the state on Wednesday.

DGP orders suspension of all civilian arms licences

In order to ensure the conduct of a free and fair assembly and parliamentary polls in Sikkim, the state police has suspended all arms licences (Civil) and directed the licencees to desposit their arms and ammunitions and the licences at the nearest police station by April four next, an official release said.
