
President Pranab Mukherjee today expressed condolences on the demise of sitar maestro Pandit Ravi Shankar and described him as a genius who delighted India and the world with his ethereal music.

Sitar maestro and composer Ravi Shankar has died near his home in Southern California, his family said on Tuesday. He was 92.
