Amarnath pilgrim die due to heart attack, toll goes up to 13

A pilgrim has died due to heart attack en route cave shrine of Amarnath in south Kashmir Himalayas, taking the death toll to 13. Komal Prakash, 60, of Shivpura belt of Madhya Pradesh suffered heart attack at Panjtarni en route the cave shrine and was shifted to a medical camp, where doctors declared him dead on Thursday evening, police official said.

The body has been handed over to the family for the last rites.
