After 19 days of protests, Congress leaders from Seemandhra and Telangana have decided to take their arguments to New Delhi. On Monday and Tuesday, leaders from both regions will meet the AK Antony panel, formed to resolve differences over Telangana.

The decision appears to be yet another effort to resolve the crisis — the state government is planning to invoke the Essential Services Maintenance Act to ensure delivery of services.

On Sunday, the Telangana ministers and legislators decided to meet the panel.

A day before, Seemandhra ministers and legislators had decided to impress their stand in favour of a united state. Sunday also saw protests over the remarks of V Hanumantha Rao, Congress MP from Telangana, who said to stay in Hyderabad, Andhra employees must quit their jobs.
