He was discovered lying in an unconscious state by a passerby who contacted the police. Dutt was then rushed to a hospital.

“I have no idea who is behind this. I am on my way to the military hospital where he is admitted,” said his brother Mukesh.

A policeman said a case has been registered and probe is on to ascertain the circumstances in which Dutt’s eyes were damaged.
