Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday moved the Delhi high court challenging a trial court order of sending him to judicial custody.

Kejriwal's lawyers mentioned the matter before a division bench of Justice BD Ahmed and Justice Sidharth Mridul for urgent hearing. The court posted the matter for Tuesday.

Kejriwal was sent to judicial custody till June 6, in the Tihar Central Jail,  after he refused to furnish a personal bond of Rs.10,000 in a defamation case filed by Bharatiya Janata Party leader Nitin Gadkari.
