Ruling Congress party has begun short-listing candidates aspiring for party's nomination for the October 13 assembly elections in Maharashtra. Congress party, which is running a coalition government with Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra for the second term in a row, is yet to sort out on seat sharing with its ally.
