Bihar: cop dies in Maoist ambush

A member of the special task force of the Bihar police died and two others were injured when Maoists ambushed a police convoy in Bihar’s Jamui district on Friday.

The incident occurred near Harni More in Giddheshwar forest, 185 km from Patna. The last vehicle in a police convoy came under fire while it was on way to Parasi More, where the rebels had blown up an under-construction CRPF camp.
