Birender Singh escapes unhurt in road mishap

AICC general secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Birender Singh today escaped unhurt in a road mishap near Kharawar village of the district on Friday.


At the time of incident, senior Congress leader Birender Singh was coming to Rohtak and when his car reached near the said village, the tyre of auto running ahead of his car got busted and toppled down.

The car hit the auto and the occupants of its vehicle fell down on road, but the driver of Singh's car somehow managed the vehicle and turned it towards road divider to avoid injuries to auto occupants.

All the occupants of the auto who fell down of the road and received minor injuries and were admitted to hospital by the police.
Several supporters reached the spot after receiving the police to know his well being and Singh moved towards Rohtak town by sitting in another car.

Talking to HT over phone, Birender Singh said that he was absolutely fine and there was nothing to worry.
