The businessman, Krishna Mohan Sah (65) was at his shop in Forbesganj market when criminals entered and stabbed him. The CCTV footage, which the police are relying on, shows a young boy, holding a knife, and dragging the bruised trader by his neck.

The incident took place at around 8.30pm on Monday. The businessman was rushed to the Forbesganj referral hospital where he was declared brought dead.

The deceased was known for his social activities. As the news spread, hundreds of people gathered at his residence in solidarity with the bereaved family.

“It is a barbaric act and we want the killers to be hanged,” said Shambhu Sah, brother of the slain businessman and leader of the BJP Araria unit as well as a former district board member. He also demanded immediate arrest of the killers.
